Yeah I have no idea what that guy is talking about. WVU was considered the best two seed.

and it wasn't like Kentucky could hit a three against Cornell either... they were a bunch of young guys not used to shooting in a place as huge and spacious as the Orange Dome.

as would UNI,,, anyone who thinks W. Virginia and N.Iowa would lose 90% of the time this last season to anyone but the Lakers hasn't watched the NCAA much lately.... Duke, Kansas, GTown, UNC, Kentucky... pick the name,,, any of them are very glad to squeek by each round of the NCAA Tourney after thursday and friday's games end.

LOL,,, yeah even tho they were dominated... Kansas and Kentucky would probably win more like 20% of the time if they played 30 times...HaHaHa.

why is WIS not commenting in this important thread with unhappy customers, how about it?
5/28/2010 4:34 PM
The Big East and Big Ten lose $40K in recruiting dollars, our teams, SYR> and Ill bilked out of a chance for a National Championship and silence from the company. After a LOT of seasons in WIS, I think I am done!

I have been in HD since 2005 and I am now done. As I said in the CC, not only because of this, but because the person running HD has proven to be inept. Two years in a row with a huge messup? Not good.....

As I posted in another thread...

Am cutting back on my teams, might just drop em all...the way this was handled was TERRIBLE...

NEVER, EVER re-run games...Whatever damage that occurred could not possibly been as bad as the damage re-running those games did. It is all about perception, and now...

You've lost ALL integrity...every cycle now, I will question "Will this count?"

Whomever made the decision to re-run games just cost your company quite a few paying customers. We cannot trust your product anymore, am truly sorry as I have loved this game :(

I've been quiet on this, as I wasn't affected by the glitch (lost in the first round with my Oklahoma State team). I can understand all sides of the story. I can certainly see why some coaches are up in arms, I can see why some are saying seble did the right thing, and I can also see the kind of quandary seble faced in this situation. There really WAS nothing that could have been done to please EVERYONE in this situation.

Is this regrettable? Yes, absolutely. But I think it's best to remember that it was, for all intents and purposes, a freak accident. Again, I wasn't affected (other than my conference getting a little extra recruiting money due to Nebraska making it further in the PI), but that's my two cents.

my team was out before the effect, but I'll offer a thought

1. I would not have re-run games - hard to say what the effects of the acknowledged problem were

2. certain that there were unintended effects of rerunning games

a. folks who lost and therefore didnt come back to check

b. folks who lost and follow a practice of adjusting their depth chart etc for the following season when they are eliminated - and therefore didnt have their seniors in the depth chart etc

c. folks who had innovative or smart or lucky game plans in the first run of the game - revealed and hence less effective

now, was the distortion of the software error greater or less than these and other distortions....dont know....what a mess

You are going to quit (or are at least are threatening to ... we will see if you actually pull the trigger on that or not). So because you are leaving that means that there is going to be a mass exodus? Methinks you MIGHT be overstating this a bit.

Maybe you are not overstating it.

One thing I know for sure. If you are not having fun, then I don't recommend you play this game. It is a game and it should be fun. If it is not, you should find something that is fun for you to do with your time and money.

I keep going back and looking at the bracket and wondering "What if" (pun inteneded).

I beat both teams in playing for the NT in DII - One by 30+ in the regular season and the other in OT while going into the Final Four only to lose in the Sweet 16 do over.

Thought I had a chance for my first NT under this log-in.

GL montanabase3 and fatchance in the big game.
