14 seasons as Commish I have never had a problem filling a league and I have never gone public. If as commish your idea of replacing owners is too just place a ad in the forums and/or go public then you are going to have long term problems. Eliminating worlds is not going to solve these worlds problems.

Well some action is warranted we all know that. Lets start with what we already do and go from there. Merge those crummy worlds and keep merging them until its stable.

Barring that I would like to recall my idea of making the teams cheaper or pay a flat fee for use of the site.

As I've stated before, the people with money for a horde of teams dont have the time or interest.

Bums like me who have all the time in the world dont have the money to purchase mulitple teams.

There are a few exceptions of course. I know threester is able to maintain up to 20 teams. I dont want to discuss minors or how he runs his teams, Im just saying there are SOME who can do it, but they are rare.

I'll go back to my steak comparison.

If I'm eating a $4 steak from Wal-Mart and it doesn't taste quite right, the dogs get it.

If I'm eating a $60 steak at Ruth's Chris and it doesn't taste quite right, it gets eaten.



If you don't think $5 teams become throwaways, you're not accepting the hard, cold facts.

I'll go out on a limb and say Wal-Mart isn't growing their own cows and butchering them. I imagine they get their meat the same way, and possibly from the same supplier, as Ruth's Chris.
