Have fun with that. What are there? 5000+ recruits? You gonna open up EVERY recruit profile and click the Scouting Service tab? Then copy it... Paste it into a page then post.. Then do that 4999 more times? I doubt you could get it done by the time recruiting was over.

Think before you post. Its per state not per recruit so doing it 50 times then whatever for the internationals is what, 3 minutes? Then its an entire tab you just copy/paste that would take no longer then 20 mins.

No, but I wonder if I setup a paypal account, and charge .05 per recruit, how many D3 accounts I would need to buy all of the regions and how many purchases I'd need to turn a profit. Oh it's real.. it's damn real!

Maybe he's an I want to leave the state and my favorite school is GT guy?

But if Georgetown is his favorite team, will that not show up from the begining? I thought Admin said that. If he's a good local and wants to get away, Georgetown is a long way from Texas. I've never gone that far w/n the states for any player that is any good on that level. If he wants to get away, North Carolina, Alabama, Ohio, kentucky, etc... are all closer than Georgetown to a kid in Texas.

But in the end, would that scenerio give me a potential advantage? I guess so. My feelings is that scouting won't be that complex, every BCS level school will be looking nationally for talent, then recruiting pretty much as they do now, which is mostly local and/or internationals.

I thought you had to pay for the Scouting Service to see his favorite team.

I don't know, but if that was the case, wouldn't it make sense for every coach of every team to put in minimal effort to scout nationwide? Didn't they say that if gave only a slight advantage to the favorite team? I don't expect Georgetown to be trekking over to California any time soon b/c some kid in Cali said I was his favorite school. Unless they change recruiting dollars, don't think I could beat out UCLA for that kid.

True, but it also might stop a team in Cali from recruiting him, seeing his favorite school is recruiting him?

Or maybe you find a stud RS prospect in TX that has great potential and his favorite school is GT?

Again not saying it'd happen often or that it ever would, but the potential is still there.

I will say that I love the idea (from page 1) of having recruits who value academics highly and will be more likely to go where GPAs are higher. You could even have a coach's average team GPA be added to his/her profile so it follows a coach (with rookie coaches given a median GPA).
