I have my DIII team up to the #1 RPI so I shouldn't have a problem moving up. This team has been quite a bit of fun to coach, we have no SR's but it has been working out. And of course the rankings aren't broken, but I am 17-3 with that RPI and unranked :)

OK, i tried this on the Rupp forum with no luck-- anyone want to give me some conference/team sales pitches for d2? Looking to move up after my one season penance in d3...

by my count there are 79 sim teams in Rupp D2. I'm curious to see how many coaches move up to D1 and how many stick around with the opportunity to play in a fairly full world.

If only a few coaches move up there may not be many higher prestige progams available, leaving new coaches with a lot of fixer-upper sims.

wronoj and any other coaches; you're welcome to the South Atlantic. Some of the more successful teams will be rebuilding next season and it should be fairly competitive. 3 sim teams and hopefully a bit of tourney recruiting cash.

A winning record will get you promoted (I think). Gulf South is the way to go. Sunny and competitive.

Im thinking of joining this after dropping my Phelan D1 team.

If a job opens up in the Central Atlantic (unlikely - we're full up and I haven't heard of anybody wanting to leave but you never know), you want it. We beat the tar out of each other and just sent 5 to the NT (co-leading D2).

There should be a battle royale for the LIU, CW Post job in the ECC. Tons of great coaches over there, and there is now a CACC-ECC challenge we've started up. They also sent 5 to the NT.

I think I will probably have enough now at Brandeis to move up.
