Had no idea this was even a thread or a topic anyone noticed. You will imagine my surprise when I applied for the Millsaps job and then arrived to find almost nothing done. Guys who had AP assigned to them and Scholarships offered, I wouldn't recruit in Division 5, never mind III. Making the best of it. I don't know the history between some of the guys and didnt read all 17 pages. But certainly was a bit of a letdown going there.

So what you’re saying is; Seble getting rid of Bulls players did nothing in the end.

I mean if they were signed before I got there it was a help. But attempting to recruit from scratch at the beginning of session 2 was not ideal.

Honestly tho, recruiting from scratch is what about +80% of coaches do anyways. In my case, I specifically do NOT choose schools that have human recruited players on them at all. I prefer rebuilds. And also it's more satisfying for me than taking someone else's and winning.

Man I miss this game. But quit bec the 2nd recruiting cycle just made the game less enjoyable. Those good 3-5 star players not playing need to transfer at the end of the season (before 2nd cycle). This would have made the 2nd recruiting cycle very interesting and more strategic, shaking up the top teams that are sitting on multiple resources but not playing them.

Transfers add to the talent pool. EEs are a totally different beast. Transfers are what help keep balance in real-life basketball. It would change the dynamics of this game completely. Imagine, having an extra 20-100 700+ rated guys to recruit in the 2nd recruiting cycle. Teams lacking talent could rebuild in 1-2 seasons with a solid group of transfers.

I agree. I wish transfers were a bigger part of the game.
