As far as the time clock goes...say I'm listed at 4:00 today. Say I'm at the doctor's and miss my pick. As soon as it's 4:30, steelers821 can go ahead and pick. Then HDS1 is up at 5:00, but if I have been skipped and steelers821 has picked, HDS1 can go ahead and pick. He does not have to wait until 5:00. The draft continues and it is up to the skipped person to get his or her pick in as soon as they can.
By the way, I'm back from my cancer treatment for the day, but I do have another appointment with a different doctor this afternoon. This is why I encourage people to either send multiple people their proxy or have a phone buddy who can text you when you are up. I don't like to see anyone get skipped.
