I think I'll wait 30 days just in case but I think I should be safe with 28, correct?
32 would be safer. After 20 days in the minors, count how many games on the ML schedule add the off days plus the 3 day AS break then add the 26 days accumulated the previous season.
If it adds up to 171 or less, the player will not gain that year of ML service. A player needs 172 days on the ML roster to gain service time.
