You definitely inherit someone else's player notes if a franchise changes hands. I don't think player notes transfer if a player gets traded or otherwise changes franchises, though.

No they do. I drafted a guy via rule 5 and I got his old coaches notes.

I place curses, via the player notes, on owners who select my guys in the Rule 5 draft.

In trades, if negotiations went particularly well or I have a long-term trading partner, I will sometimes send my notes on a player along in the trade. Generally though, I delete them while the trade is pending. Why give away info?

player notes transfer no matter what

team notes transfer season to season, but not owner to new owner, at least i think because i forgot to reup one season and i believe my notes were gone when i finally rejoined the league (in the same offseason)

I'm giving up a team in one of my worlds at the end of the season and I was thinking of putting in a bunch of notes to help in case a noob takes over next season. I don't want to bother if they disappear.
