you guys are suggesting that an A- from 1000miles away would be a coinflip versus a B- who has the kid in his backyard?

I just have not seen this ever. Since I have an A+ and the cuse, does that mean that I could be battling most teams (B+ and lower) on even footing from a 1000 miles away?

gees that just has not been my experience, nor have i seen any evidence of it in tark.

anyone else have thoughts to offer on this semi-related issue

I've been at an A/A+ prestige with UCLA in Tark for quite awhile OD, and I had the same mindset as you did for a long time. A couple of seasons ago, recruits were pretty sparse out West (what else is new), so I had to recruit a little further away than I thought I should, in order to bring in a quality SF.

Long story short, Zhawks is right on the money (in my humble opinion). Don't underestimate the power of prestige.

I wouldnt be too worried when you have a B- prestige and only 60 miles away..

If you have 40K to spare for the guy, you are in great shape IMO

I thought this was a new version of the time zone rule. I'm disappointed, to say the least.

Agree, emy. Lostmyth in Phelan is a great example. He's taking recruits from 400-700 miles away, from B to A- schools close to the recruits. His very high A+ is very powerful. Boy, would I love to have that problem.
