I don't really understand how the update did anything to effect using a fatigue strategy... made it a little more involved and micromanaging, maybe, but the fact is, it is still just as feasible and doable as before. In fact, I almost feel the minimum IP/PA requirements almost encourages the fatigue strategy more as owners who are good at manipulating the flaws in the fatigue system now have incentive to use the fatigue strategy as well to account for the excess IP and PA currently required.

Fact is, until they fix the way fatigue is handled at its core, the fatigue strategy will remain very viable and doable despite the various band-aids applied.

He also fatigues hitters, generally drafting 3500 real PAs. Last champ league I was in, he drafted the 300 PA Mark Mcgwire and Cravath and didn't use them until after the AS, while his rookies played alot of games. This is no longer possible.

My mistake in the league was to dump all of my interleague plays, giving grizzly 4 free wins while he was 13games behind; he finished 1 game ahead in the wild card race.

And ofc I faced his team in the WS and lost.

Oh, trust me, I understand that it isn't just for pitchers. That's why I referenced IP/PA and not just IP or just pitching fatigue, but fatigue in general.

I just don't see the update as having done anything to prevent the fatigue strategy. I see it as encouraging more of it. If I had the time, I'd run another one of my fatigue test teams and document it in the forums like the other 4.

I think the fatigue strategy can still be used. Like everything else, it takes a little tweaking.

WOW. After reading through old threads. This is probably my favorite of all time. :)

Let the record show, I only run a much milder form than I once did with not half the success. (I used to throw about 35 games, now just a dozen,)

I will admit, just like Just4me said, I didn't think that update would make that big a difference. But it sure did.

I've only did a few Champs leagues since they've come back and have had my head handed to me.
