You're not in charge of anything. STFU.

biggest problem i'm seeing is fielding coaches. 32 teams and only about half the number of decent fielding coaches available and like mike pointed out, way more good hitting coaches that won't get a job. i've not done any research on it but i would bet that in MLB the opposite is true.

I'm sure you are.

There isn't a problem with FI. Everyone just thinks they should get 80+ for every coach. They shouldn't.

I hear that St Louis will hire you as Hitting Coach if you took massive amounts of steroids and cattle vitamins and struck out 20% of your plate appearances.

Speaking as one that got stuck with a 55 FI coach, I agree with this. I didn't anticipate needing an addtional $3M for a ML fielding coach, and that's on me. The problem is that it's the luck of the draw as to whether your FI from the previous year decides to stick around.

Realistically, every single one of them should jump back into the pool every year (given the paucity of talent and the deep pockets) rather than renew for $700-800K.

i agree evryone shouldn't get an 80 plus FI but the dropoff is pretty steep if people are getting 55 guys. and i mean a lot of people are.

One area where ADMIN needs to adjust is the demands of returning coaches. Realistically, coaches base their demands on the highest pay level for a given position, so if a 90-FI coach gets $3M on the open market, the 85-FI coaches should be renewing at around $2-2.5M, and not at the $750K that they're re-upping for.

THAT'S where the inequity and imbalance lies.

In other words, we have 5 under 60. Care to guess how many teams were under 60 in S1?

Give up? I'll tell you. 12. Why no "Sky is falling!!!" in S1?
