It's wrong to think a player can't regress before a certain age. Makeup probably plays a roll. Who knows what other factors.

This is just a BS post:

Are you telling me that a ML'er can't decline at 28? That he can't lose range, or speed or power? That's a narrow way of thinking.

I'm not saying that, I've just found multiple instances of top players losing a point on Range. As I said, it was unexpected and I'll need to adjust how I play the game since it appears to be the norm for the game.

And sure... a player's range can start to decline at age 23 (see http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/stats?playerId=6048). Never said it wasn't possible. I just figured part of the "prime age" for a player would mean he'd keep his physical skills through that period.

I was wrong.
