YOu know, Colonels, being pompous even when someone is trying to honestly help you doesn't help you culture your victim image very much. Would it really have hurt you that much to say something like 'Thank you."?.

WIthout doing it in a smart alec manner first?

It had already been addressed in another thread, I told him so in a polite manner, and thanked him...what else do I have to do, my goodness...

if you want this to happen, you probably need to sitemail schroedess - I remain happy to help, but my skills are weak

if you wait for folks to do it without you organizing them for it, it will not happen - you are asking for help in testing your hypothesis, you need to get active or gather the data on your own

I think we'll just let this thing fall to the wayside...there's not a lot of interest to begin with, you guys win....I'll still be doing it for my own team, so I might post that every once in a while but we'll see. Thank you for the consideration, take care.

ya know, some folks minds were open enough to do some work and offer to do more

your vigorous arguments for your approach greatly overshadow the effort you were willing to devote to illustrate its merit

Why don't you get it into your friends game then? I think that would be the best choice and help him get his game out there. Since you canceling it I won't worry about getting the teams then.

He doesn't need my help and it isn't necessarily ready for business per se either...its very possible that it may be nothing more than a hobby for him, though I tell him he can make some money off of it if he wants.
