The second guy is actually not bad. He's easily better than all of your options.

he plays above average D in CF. he's useful to me as a D replacement/spot starter.

I'd go with 3. Plus defender in LF, pretty good speed and he should hit righties fairly well. He's be OK in a platoon with 2
