Spring Training playing time. Topic

I see a lot of people have them play in almost every game on limited time, but I always figured more games played = greater chance of injury.
I have not devoted that many PA's and pitches to vets and my teams seem to be doing fine with it. Maybe half of that.

I agree with most of the above, but I will stretch young, still-improving MLers out longer, especially guys who either have very high Dur or will not play as many innings as they might be able to in the regular season (say, a platoon hitter or a SuB).

Not only is it good to stop at 20 AB's and 2-3 outings for pitchers but you have a chance to see how some of your ML and AAA players play at different positions to help you when you need to call someone up or injuries force a change. I try to use ST for two 5 IP starts for starters and about 20-25 AB's for the regular players. This along with 3 outings for relief pitchers is all I have ever needed to get the players ready for the season.
