FWIW, I think we need to have a pow-wow before next version and iron out some ruling issues. Collectively decide how the theme should play, et al.

Okay guys. We are in the home stretch for 1948-1978. There seemed a relative lack of depth on the WW for ALOT of teams. So I think we should discuss what steps to take to improve this league.

I propose:

*AAA Below average, but pick your own. This way you can patch a few holes as you see fit. Below average is just a monetarly value, you can definitely get more useful players using the pick your own style, while doing this any higher would leads to alot of teams not even using their franchise players.

*WW- All open within division. Any team in the AL East can select an AL East player NOT on a current roster. That still may make it tough to find a good player, just an idea. We could scrap the WW altogether but I do like having that extra dimension to the league.

*PA/IP minimums was unclear...the intent of it was not having a team draft incorrectly then fielding a bunch of 41% guys as the season wore on after drafting a couple overpriced (for this cap) studs. I have since found that you can implememnt the minimums in the draft center upon theme league creation with the Theme Wizard, so it will be impossible for a team to fall below this upcoming season at any point.

Thoughts?

I'd vote:

a) 6/4 below average AAA
b) WW open to all your particular league , but from that era (only 8 teams)
c) Good idea - use theme wizard for IP/AB requirements

Thanks dl.

Regarding your "b)" you think all players from timeera for all division or only interdivision?

I vote with dlrawson

Does that mean we can pick any National Leaguer during that time period? If so it would open things up.

Yes, Panzer, I meant the whole league that you're in. I.E, if you have a NL team, you can claim any player not currently on anyone's else roster from any NL team from 1929-1948. I'd still require that you have not previously had that particular player also according to the current rules.

I say get rid of those min salaries if we need 1450 innings

I changed the min to 1375. Everything will be set up shortly.

I hope this will be a good balance, I like it so far...
