Ya ars is right it just starts to effect the IQ slower. Its a balancing job but as long as my guys max out by their Senior year I am good with it to get their IQ higher.

Its funny that I said this and now on my Rupp team Im starting a soph who was ineligible last season and a freshman and his backup.

I've started up to 2 Fr at a time with my Minn team in Iba. For the most part, I haven't given either over 5 distro all year. One of my other freshmen does get more than that as one of my top bench scorers.

Going into the year, I was taking over a 3 win team with 5 open scholarships. They're now at 14 Ws and likely to make one of the tournaments. In this rebuilding year, I had to play the freshmen and didn't mind giving distribution where and when it made sense.

In D2 freshman can play. I started four freshman when I first took over a terrible team and ended up having a .500 record. If you have a high prestige and started 5 freshman all four years I bet you could bring in a championship...idk who would want to wait 4 years but...

as iguana has demonstrated in a very convincing, factual manner, diminishing returns for iq kick in very early. at least by 10 minutes, probably sooner.

I got two starting freshmen. It has been a struggle but I think we are a team nobody wants to play. At first they sucked, and then started to do ok when the conference games started.
