i noticed this too and i biuld most of my teams around power. the teams i have that used to be offensively dominant are way less productive. they also said the home runs turn into doubles or triples instead of outs but i haven't seen that either. doubles, triples and averages all went down too.

Agree. You think xtra base hits would have improved but no ..

I think in a way they did. They are updating the update.

Clearly what they did went way to far in fixing any perceived HR issue, and now they are scambling to make the game unrealistic again.

I just couldn't resist swamp

Well, nothing from WIS for a couple of days, so I submitted a ticket. I don't think that is being too impatient for a little clarification.

I think that the update will take us to a palce where 80 HR guys will hit 55, and 55 HR guys will hit 50, but everyone else will be unchanged.

That is the only reason for them to keep saying that only the upper echelon will be impacted.

CC Wright

Last 4 years he hit 81, 68, 75, 63 but this past season he hit 48. But he still finished first in home runs for the whole world. Closest was 6 behind.

I'm okay with that.

kjd, if you reported that ticket response accurately, it looks like CS is instructed to spin and not give a straight answer. It looks like the real anwer is "the change will affect everybody, but it will affect the guys at the top disproportionately more." For some reason, they always start out saying, "It will affect the guys at the top." Then they add some modifier that is as clear as mud. It makes one wonder if there is less than unanimous agreement among the WIS guys as to what to do or at least how to report it, and there is a power struggle (no pun intended) over it.

i think you intended that pun

It looks to me like WIS would like to see that number around 55, with maybe a 60 HR season popping up every decade or so. If they end up getting that right, I think almost everyone will end up mostly satisfied with that level.

I dont see what all of the complaints are about. 48 seems pretty realistic to me as the BL leader IRL hit 47.

I don't understand, snake. If you don't have any teams, why submit a ticket? Of what concern can any of this be to you? Why do you post so much on a forum for a game you don't even play?
2/4/2010 10:16 PM
Do they even answer tickets for someone without a team?
