It would be the same either way.. Type a and Type b free agents are determined by percentages at each position. So if there are 100 first basemen free agents there would be 10 type a. Determining the numbers it wouldn't matter if they used 10 type as or 100 overall.

that's not true oriolemagic...compensation is based on % of the whole, not % of FA
