I had a great opportunity in Iran that I just had to follow, and it fell though. It took me this long to find a flight back.

Now we know he's a fake. The real death couldn't even spell Iran, let alone find a way to get there.

Along these same lines I have a question about fatigue...Will a player get tired at a "lesser" rate if he is playing a less fatiguing position such as 1B as opposed to second base where he would have to move around a lot more to get to balls as opposed to just standing on the bag and receiving throws???

Not sure about 1B but there has been debates over DH.

And I know of no 1B who just stands on the base and receives throws.

just saying that a 2B is much more active in the field - just saying ;) - but thanks for the response

i'm almost positive admin has stated there is a fatigue hierarchy, with C being the most demanding/fatiguing position and DH being the least...i'm pretty sure it was in one of the dev chats

I know once a guy drops below 100% his fatigue starts to fall in a hurry. How much of a hit does a guy take for being a late inning replacement? Should you rest a guy rather than just bench him in order to avoid his coming into a game late? I wouldn't want to miss out on a guy PHing in a crucial spot just to save a tiny bit of fatigue.

from the first dev chat of 2009:

I wonder if you could lay out for us how players at each position tire. It seems to me that a catcher for instance should tire more quickly over the course of season compared to say a 1B and a DH should hold his stamina better than any position player. After several seasons of playing it seems to me like stamina is almost entirely attached to AB's and nothing else. Not very realistic. (mosley80 - All*Star - 12:44 PM)
Catchers fatigue the most, then the other position players, then DH. We're not talking a huge difference here, but it is significant over the course of a season.

So all PP outside of C and DH tired at the same level.

i don't know...that seems to be what it implies, but i suppose it could also be interpreted that admin just gave the extremes and we are to figure out where the other positions fall in the spectrum...it would be great if someone asked a follow-up question in the next dev chat, i'll try to remember to do so

I mentioned a player earlier in the thread that dropped from 100% to 90% during the first 50 games of the season. I benched him for the next ten. He came in for 2-3 innings in about 5 of the games and still is back up to 100%. So, I believe that you will be fine PHing players.
