Is FDIAH like the guy who took over John Locke?

Is the guy who took over for John Locke dumber than the original?

if i had a type "A" out on the FA market it might be nice having an idea of what teams were after his services.

perhaps i'd prefer to keep the player if i thought instead of a late #1 and a sandwich, i'd be comped with a sandwich and a #4.

then again perhaps the team that let said player walk should be excluded from having the opportunity to offer his FA a contract.

There are two sides to every coin:

1) We'd probably all want to know what the other guy is doing during free agency or IFA.

2) Do you really want the other guy to know what YOU are doing during free agency (or IFA)?

Be careful what you ask for, because you just might get it.

1. We already know too much because we can see every aspect of their budget.

2. They already know too much because they can see every aspect of my budget.

i might want another owner to think he knows what i am doing. i could make offers to players just so my rival sees my name in the mix. perhaps my offers drive up his ultimate cost. think of the sox-yanks bidding wars on bernie williams and johnny damon. think of mark tex last year.

even though we can see this years budget, i think i am noticing more players signing long term deals with a signifigantly/relative smaller amount of cash in year 1. just yesterday i saw a 5 year deal for 6.5/14.6/14.6/14.6/14.6, thus even though a team has little wiggle room in year 1, they can still land the big contract.

Best record in the league this year.

Ignominious flameout in the NLCS.

Actually been one of the top teams for the last five years, so it was only a NINE-year rebuild!

Welcome back FDIAH!

I will admit that fakedeathinahole has done a lot of research into MG. I wonder if it's someone who was once in MG?
