While it did add a bunch of bums, it did add some well-deserving players as well. I'm okay with it.

Did they pull it our of their cooch? No. Thus, they "existed" prior to the world starting up.

Thus, if you really wanted to think that hard, you could extrapolate that they had a good career prior to the world starting up.
