I think everyone above answered your question. I'd like to say from personal experience from twice intentionally switching Offense and/or Defense usually a bad idea. The only reason I would change Offense and/or Defense unless I planned on staying at the school for the long term and anticipated ~2-3 sub par terrible seasons. If I were to do it again I would wait until you are at a B/B+ or above before even thinking about it and then only switch when I had an obvious >9 player turnover happening in a 2 season span.
