Re: $4 for last place Topic

I disagree. You can't have it for some instances (mid-season replacements) and not for others (people who have been there all season). That would just give people financial incentive to start transferring their teams to their own aliases just to game the credit system.

It should just be done away with altogether. Replace it with $2 credits for teams with winning records that miss the playoffs. Give financial incentive to being competitive at the major league level.

If they cracked down on aliases .... sigh

Im still stuck on why teams that don't make the playoffs make more than teams that do. I've heard people say WHY, but it still doesn't make sense. It would be like paying golfers more to miss the cut at a PGA tournament or paying a team more money to not make a bowl game in NCAA football

How about just making the game cheaper rather than giving crappy teams credits?

$25 for 3 months of gameplay is pretty cheap.

Minus of course any credits, valid or not, that you receive for the previous season.

They don't. At best, a 4th place team gets the same credit ($4) as a playoff team that suffers a first round loss.

The $4 lat place reward had to be dreamed up by the Obama administration.

WIS probably realizes that the people who are finishing in last place are most likely newer owners, and if they can keep those people around paying 20.95, instead of giving up and quitting, then it's better than having them leave and lose that revenue altogether. So, giving financial incentive to keep those most likely to leave may not be the worst business plan

if a 4$ credit is all that's keeping them here, they aren't going to be here for long. Can't they send them an e-card instead?

I would like someone from WIS to chime in on this one.

Ok, so if you finish fourth in your first 5 HBD seasons, you get the credit.

But the other perennial cellar-dwellers are the tankers and they don't deserve jack.

Ok so why are non-playoff teams being compensated the same as 1st round losers.
