credits have always expired, reward points have not expired

I think I have 1700 or so--can I convert those to game credit or are they basically useless unless I make the national title game? (In which case, they are useless.)

i guess they felt too many people could "make a profit" playing in the lower divisions, cashing out with amazon gift cards. so, this change allows them to address that concern, while also restoring the benefit of the old reward point system for the majority of people. most just use RP for more HD seasons, or other WIS games, so it shouldn't matter much if its credits or dollars. but getting the 100% instead of 25% is big for anybody with a long term d2/d3 program.

If it has, that would have been a handy piece of information that I didn't know about before. I wonder how many points I've lost because of that. Whether it's new or not, they should have some sort of warning for points about to expire in the next, say, 30 days.

i dont find it very significant at all. you can buy seasons you dont need as soon as you have enough credits, and those will never expire. i suppose it might force people to buy say 2 single seasons, instead of waiting 2.5 years to buy the 5 pack, but thats the only effect i see from the 12 month deal.

I agree that there are still some issues that need to be resolved regarding current balances of reward points, but overall I think that this is a good change and responds to the criticism that accompanied the last change to reward points.

Ah. I misread the credit/point difference. I assume the expiration of the credits is why they are able to remove the reduction in rewards for DII and DIII. It's now harder to accumulate enough points for the five (or in days gone by, the 10 pack).

I still say that only having rewards points for NC appearances is more of a penalty than a reward. You can't use them all up in one shot so you'll just sit on the excess until your next appearance, whenever that is...

You can exchange in reward points for WIS gift certificates though.

I'm just stunned at how many people found a way to ***** about this. Seriously -- stunned.

Great change. If you're close to a 5-pack w. reward points just convert them. Pretty easy.

Nice work, seble.

too bad they don't retroactively give us the credits. in the last 10 seasons, just on this team, the difference in what i got and what i would have gotten at 100% is over 34K reward points, or about $180. sure wouldn't mind having $180 dollars of amazon gift cards :O

I think the credits can only be used for HD.
