Injuries: For or Against? Topic

I vote yes, and wish they happened more- forcing people to use their depth. If everyone lost a player or two every season, it wouldn't be a big issue. It's the fact they are so rare.

It's not tied at all to durability?

Yes, it is tied to durability and is going to be even more so.

Use my depth? At MSU I have 8 players playing over 15 mpg and all 12 play over 8 mpg. If I had a big injury I wouldnt be able to go with my usual 12 man lineup.

Well if that's the case, and there is nothing that affects who gets injured and for how long, I guess I am opposed to injuries also.

I am OK with injuries, but the Durability rating needs to mean something. They have drastically reduced the severity of injuries from seasons past.I had one this season that dropped his health to 95. Big Deal. As it is, a 95 DU vs a 35 DU means about the difference of one game getting healthy from an injury that drops you to an 80 or so. If it had meaning, it would be a consideration in recruiting.

I dont need one more thing that hinders a recruit. I already have stamina and work ethic.

Fair vote, most people are for injuries, but am a bit surprised.

Since we will have injuries, what about adding a 13th player to the roster? Since practice minutes will be more meaningful, some coaches may be more likely to redshirt giving coaches 11 rostered players. However, a couple of injuries, you're down to 9, but that would be a killer to a team that runs the FB/FCP combo. Thoughts?
