the title of this thread should be about Crawford, Holloway, and Clemente who played 46, 47, and 48 mintues respectivly.

I guess I was commenting on the fact that he was dominating the second OT, despite looking "gassed," which I think is blatantly wrong.

But fine, there you go, use any of them. Or Johnny Flynn, who played like 60 minutes in the 6OT game last year. Whatever.

If you want to argue that it's better this way, that's fine, I disagree. I think there should simply be more variation in stamina. If only a few really good players have 95-100, that takes care of your problem.

But to argue that it's not realistic, which I've heard people do, is wrong.

EDIT: Flynn played 67 minutes.

well the guys guarding him had played 6 and 7 minutes more than he had up to that point. I would give Pullen a much lower stamina than I would any of those other three.

and we cant argue what is and what is not realistic when it comes to ratings. in HD you get the "same player" every game where in real life you get the same player but there are so many factors that HD can't relate to. Not to mention we cant give ratings to players with any kind of certainty.

Having said all that I am all for wider ranges of staminas where we have 10% of players of who can go 38 mintues when needed in close games, 80% who can play 25 minutes, and 10% who are good for 15 minutes tops.

Based on the fact that they played more minutes? He was outplaying all of them, so I don't really think you can say that with any certainty.

Anyway, it's moot, because I agree with the bolded part (for the most part - I still think you can say for the purposes of this game that it's unrealistic that even most conditioned athletes can only play top-end basketball for less than 65% of the game).

Regardless, I think we agree on my main concern.
