You will know low potential because it will say things like "I don't see much improvement" or "realistically I think he's tapped out."

Actually, I don't think it's always a rounding error anymore. I had a player who scouted as Average in ATH, and showed up in the asst. coach email as HIGH. The scouting trips didn't indicate he was Avg-High, they indicated he was just average.

His ATH improvement, however, over 2 seasons was more along the lines of High-high. So, it was much more than a 1 point difference.

There is no such thing as average/high in the evaluation, every recruit gets the same response depending on their rating if they are average. For example a player with 60 per the note will say something like excellent outside shooter with some fine tuning I do see some upside, and every player with average potential and per around that rating will get the same note. While a player with 1 per but average potential will get something along the lines of really poor outside shooter but I do see some upside. These messages don't change.

There was once I thought I was on to something when I had a guy show up as average in passing in FSS but high in the player thoughts so I checked what it said about his passing and then got the same note the next time I did recruiting about a player and he showed up in the player thoughts as average.
