Is that like when Kentucky with Pat Riley lost to Texas Western

Went 0-9 to start the season and then won my last OOC game and swept the conference and conference tourney making it to round of 32 a few seasons back.

0-9 and then 20 straight wins or so, but mostly I think this can only be relevant at D1 Big Conferences as otherwise a really weak conference can pretty much assure you winning after having a hard OOC. Like mine where I played 8 of 10 ranked teams during non-con.

:-)

An indication of how far we have come may have been the Cornell-KU game. Cornell fans were hoping that maybe we could be the UTEP of 2010... with a little twist... all of KU's significant players are now black and all but one of Cornell's was white. (I allways felt a little guilty about that... but i dont think it was racism,, just a profile of who we could get to come here.)

I had never really thought about the "adolph" comment. that seems weird when you think about it... america had so much hatred for the other adolph and what he did to the jewish people and others, yet we were here at home doing almost the same thing to the African-americans.

"america had so much hatred for the other adolph and what he did to the jewish people and others, yet we were here at home doing almost the same thing to the African-americans."

Great point, but don't believe it's changed everywhere. I live in a small town in east Texas, pop. 987 but around 4,000 within a 7-8 mile radius, and it's just as bad if not worse than most of the country was in the 50's. We're actually selling our home and moving to get away from the ignorance...

You know what I love about some areas of the US is that they think people in the midwest (Iowa, Wisconsin, MN, KS, Nebraska, Dakotas) are so backwards and are not accepting of others just because we in general do not want gay marriage (but most accept gay civil unions).

Yet, you go elsewhere in the country and they are more judge mental and abrasive than anyone in the mid-west.

Its like oh your from a town of 200 people in Wisconsin you must be racist and be a closet gay-basher. Yet the people who say this wouldn't walk through a mostly black neighborhood at night or accept that some hispanic people are actually here legally.

I once had a friend invite a girl to eat with us that was from New York, she didn't tip the waiter cause he was hispanic and she said they should be happy we let them live here, now how ignorant is that!
