Because they're two completely, independent aspects of the game. You shouldn't have to memorize which job(s) you applied to first, second, third...I mean, would a priority button be too much to ask? I know you can withdraw apps, however let's say the first job you applied to ended up not being your first choice...then what? You withdraw the app and hope for the best? I experienced something like this in Clutch Racing when you would hire drivers and crew chiefs...the first one you applied to always got precedence...you could sign a max of 2 drivers, but you couldn't apply for multiple drivers without getting stuck with 2 drivers, which is rather unnecessary imo. The job application process can be done better and that's the point here. I don't think asking to number jobs according to priority is too much to ask. Again, how you don't see how completely different the 2 circumstances are, is beyond me. Who gets X coaching job in HD isn't really random/that random at all because presumably the sim looks at the record and qualifications of one coach, compares it to all others and the one with the best wins.

I can sense this thread turning into a 100+ post thread where colonels is clearly wrong but refuses to admit it because he's the most stubborn person on the planet. Again, if you guys can't differentiate between different facets in the same game, then there's always going to be a disagreement. If you want to tell me that my opinion is wrong, fine, I don't really care. You want to call me a hypocrite...that's wrong....I still own up to both statements.
