You really should have added "...and we were glad to do it. We'd walk uphill in the snow without shoes just to play HBD!"

I love baseball and particularly Latin ballplayers, and I think I would really like this game too, if there was a "New User's Guide" that spelled out how to do everything. The Mets would do well to have a complete user's guide somewhere on their website, which instructs general managers on how to do everything, because it is very complex and there are so many different things to try to learn at the beginning. For example I could not figure out how to release a player that is coming up for arbitration. He has no years in his contract remaining, but he is still up for arbitration and I do not want to re-sign him. I asked on the WFAN radio show, and someone just replied, just release him, which didn't really help me much, since my question was "How" to release him. I don't mind losing the $140 million dollar payroll budget, and maybe I will try again at a later time, when my life is not quite so busy, especially if Major League Baseball ever posts a user's guide on there.

If you added to your sentence about walking in the snow "with 100 lb bag of coal on your back", it would of sounded like my old man.

Different version. I decided to go without shoes.

We did lose one new user just before the rule 5 draft. Fortunately they allowed us to replace him with a vet.

The crappy basic roster move option will turn off anyone who isn't 100% committed. I've mentioned this to them and got the canned response. More people should send tickets about it.

Yeah, it really is horrible. Shuffling your players to fill in all your levels is a real pain--especially in season 1 using the basic moves.

The guy who we got rid of/ would have probably been gone regardless. He was inactive for 3 days early, and got on just prior to arb hearings. Only made one promotion. The guys he didnt arb were auto-arbed. He did actually appear to do some coach hiring.

And he didnt protect his rule Vs. After the non-protecting, I sitemailed him asking if he was planning to be fully active, or if he wanted me to give his franchise away. He chose to leave.
