With 2 immediate openings in the field majresorter and Lakeland is confirmed for Shootout XX. Still have not heard from phsx2010. If we don't hear from him by the end of recruiting deadline, we will have an 11-team field, or we will fill the spot with any new interested coach signing up.

Feel free to recruit your Conference or other coaches.

It appears that we will be going with an 11-team field for Shootout XX. phsx2010 has not read his sitemail, and from what I can tell, has made no effort to recruit for the current season. I'm not going to delay the schedule so if at the end of the day today we still have only 11 teams, then 11 teams it shall be.

I have slotted Lakeland into the first open spot vacated by Averett. If we get a new 12th team, they will go into the spot vacated by Whitman.

The schedule for Shootout XX will be published in full by tonight or tomorrow at the latest. As I have time today I will begin working on the pool play, as we will keep the same spots and switch sites. Byes will be scheduled accoridingly.

Devil, why don't we get the Whitman coach to still make his team available for the shootout, even if he's leaving? Better than dropping to 11, and it would help whoever (if anyone) were to take over Whitman next year.

vamrball, thanks for your interest in the Shootout. At this point, Season 26 is more or less scheduled. I will put you on the waitlist and if you're going to be sticking around D3 @ Emory and Henry, we will have at least one immediate opening for the field in Season 27 and you will be able to join then. We will start the process for Season 27 as soon as recruiting begins for Season 26.

Guys, I don't know what's going on with Rockford. I think we've passed the deadline for scheduling now so what's done is done. serb0649 has been a great part of this event so I hope everything is ok with him.
