I think progressives tend to get more owners who realize there's more to life than winning pretend baseball games.

AMEN TO THAT.................

Well let me state this I hate the play!!! there is nothing more annoying than losing to a bunt with the infield in and a slow runner on 3rd!! But it seems like everybody does it so I feel obligated to use it too. They need to do something about it, I would love for it to work about 1% of the time so it people wouldn't even try it!!

I got no problem with a pitcher bunting home the winning run. Or a weak hitter really. A little annoying I guess, when it's a guy like Hank Greeneberg who probably never bunted in his life. But then again..the other owner payed his $13 too, etc etc

It's just annoying that it works 90% of the time, no matter what the situation. is.

I don't watch many NL games, but do real life NL teams always bunt the runner home when a guy is on third ?

Seems like they would, if was that easy to consistently do.

Runners on the corners,no outs and on a ground ball they turn 2 and the runner does not score----This NEVER happens in real life, from T-Ball to MLB. Most teams now use the safety squeeze over the straight squeeze, but even then, the guy whiffs the bunt and you are hung up in no mans land--I have never seen this happen in sim

Since everyone is complaining about something, runners score from first on doubles too often

I completely disagree with that. I think the reason more runners score from 1st in the sim is that most owners draft speedier overall lineups than the average Big League team in real life. Also, I think many RL managers' baserunning aggressiveness settings in the sim would be 2s or even 1s. The guys that aren't locked up in long-term jobs have to be a little conservative to protect themseves. A lot of the guys that are have such good hitters that aggressive baserunning doesn't make sense.

Agree with dahs ... It's easier to prevent runner that hit double from going from 2B to 3B (unless you are in RF) than to prevent runner to score from 3B ... that ball has to go an additional 90 feet if you are throwing from LF ... As a former amateur IF, I often had to go in the shallow OF to catch relay throw from OF near the fences ... Heck, at my age (and in bad shape), I can hardly throw a ball 90 feet away! ...

my complaint is with people who complain about how other people manage...

you get to manage your team...

not everyone's.

I would say that happens in real life often.

Jim Leyland does it about as much as anyone-about 6 to 8 times a season and only with a couple players who are excellent bunters.

It is abused here beyond belief by some players
