From the Dev. Chat on player ratings:

Durability (du): refers to how a player deals with injuries - the higher a player's durability, the less likely they are to sustain a severe injury and when they do get injured, how quickly they'll be able to return.

and later in the same chat:

Injuries are random but there is an inverse relationship between durability and injury severity - the higher the durability, the lower the chances of a *severe* injury and vice versa.

This injury is totally your fault. If you had started the better player, he wouldnt have been ****** and kicked the reserves bench the worse player should have been sitting on. Learning to set your depth chart correctly and putting your best players on the floor will cut down drastically on injuries even though they are playing more minutes.

I guess there are as many stupid as whiny threads started in this forum as there are in GD. Great post.

I promised Mason a start that's why Miller's on the bench...was that dumb...probably, I was battling with a friend of mine for him...why should a guy be more prone to be injured from the bench then if he were starting?

So wait a minute you think this player shouldn't get hurt? He's at 83% health, which means you can play him with no worries. Even LeBron gets banged up.

The mpg thing is a tiny, tiny, tiny thing. I don't understand your focus on it. Injuries are random and generally not the result of playing too much, a small difference in mpg just isn't really a factor.

And the guy is at 83%, he can still play. Guys get banged up. This isn't major, surprising, unusual, weird or even worthy of a mention.

Again, not saying anything is wrong with the engine (AS YOU'RE SUGGESTING) I'm just ****** that this happened, and given the recent thread about injuries, I thought I'd pipe up. If a guy'sgetting significantly hurt at 71 DU in the "old" engine...what's going to happen in the new? You guys ALWAYS read more into my post than there is to read. I'm ****** and I'm venting because I'm ******, period. Get on with it..

I don't think I'd call dropping to 83 health being "significantly hurt".
