Yeah. There are flat out rejections as in case closed, and there are 'well probably not but I'll think about it and may change my mind later' situations. Kind of like asking out the hottest girl in school. That is probably a flat out rejection; whereas, a semi-hot girl may say not now, but maybe another time and then you may actually take her out later...
