I actually think even in real life if 1 team dwarfs the other in athleticism and speed and are average in the skill areas they would win a pretty large % of the time. For example I'm sure if the UCONN's women's team played the best boys high school team in the country they would lose a good % of the time despite being more skilled because the high school team would be so much faster and more athletic.

Just look how close OKC took the Lakers if you want to talk althleticism and speed vs good fundamentals


And yet, the "fundamental" team won 4 of 6 games. Personally, I don't think that would happen in HD. Hopefully the new engine takes this into account because the game now is all about track stars.
