im way ahead of you FD, been banging my head against that wall for 37 years.

noncn for my fbpr cuse-tark team was a mxed bag against the new engine. lots of games where we blew people out of the water and sored 100+ points, even a couple of those versus semi-decent teams. but also had a horrific upset loss to a mediocre simmy-team.

but now the fun really starts, the big east is far and away the #1 conf with an rpi of .6000+. if we can go 9-7, i will consider the fb/pr a huge success. i would even take 8-8 i suppose.

A) I hae been told for at least 4 human years (35+ tark years) that FB was going away.

B) its early yet, but it seems to me that "wearing down your opponent" might be a viable stretergy in the new engine. Especially if opponnt is running FCP. anyone else seeing this?

I have come to the conclusion (Looking around at games) that unless you have truly superior stamina, running an uptempo fastbreak press is a fool's errand.

Slow Tempo and Fast Break just don't seem to go together. There is nothing Slow Tempo about a Fast Break. Maybe going Zone on the other end to allow your guys to Rest would work, but you really can't take your time on a Fast Break.

YOu can't run a slow tempo fastbreak> It is literally not possible. But you can run a normal tempo fastbreak. n Or you can run somethign other than the Break with the press.

I LOVE my D3 fastbreak/zone team. Super fun to read the boxscores, and while our defense sucks, we have the energy to run on offense and go uptempo with a 10-11 man rotation with minimal fatigue/foul issues.
