A championship won under the new engine won't count for anything, you won't get any credits or reward points, and all the results will be wiped away once the engine is "fixed" (not that seble is capable of fixing anything, since he's such a total fail) just like Bobby Ewing's death.

anton, you know im normally a fan of yours, but this, even though an attempt at humor, completely misses the mark.

The new engine, based on a meaningless sample of a dozen games, seems to be a big improvement on the state of the game when I it.

Am I satisfied with the implementation? It's about what I expected, and I've certainly seen far worse.

Either you are completely satisfied - and Anton has said multiple times he wasn't - or you must rip the game and everything about it and everyone involved in it up one side and down the other and hurl invective at them in a non ending stream.

That seems to be the strawman here. .

Actually that was a false dichotomy.

A strawman would be when you make a fictional opponent and tear down there fictional arguments; almost like you did there in the second half of your post.

So because you expect the implementation to have major problems, and worse problems have occurred in the past, you don't care?

I wish I had grown up in your house.

"Well, I expect you to be a delinquent, and your brother is in prison for murder, so I guess robbing that guy isn't a big deal."

I certainly hope WIS didn't set the standard on the low end with the implementation of potential and the +100 point gain freshmen that capped out midway through their 2nd season.

OK, although I'm not totally sure that changes the analysis, and I still find it odd that you asked yourself a yes-or-no question and didn't answer it that way.

Are you satisfied with the implementation?

I didn't ask the question, damon did. I just out the "completely" part, since that's an absurb standard for anything. Although absurd standards seem to be a recurring theme in this overall debate.

And what I posted answered the question.

No, it didn't. I still have no idea if you are satisfied. It's a yes or no. Not sure why it's so necessary to dance around it.

Look, in reality, I don't think the engine is all that bad. I don't like the blowouts between evenly-matched teams and I don't think individual matchups were fixed as much as promised, but those are easily fixable, I think.

I'm more annoyed that this season is essentially a semi-beta test, regardless if "all rollouts are like this."
