so height is completely irrelevant?
OK ... height (and weight, and balance, and "center of gravity", and shoe size, and arm length, and vertical leap, and etc...) are all taken into account when numbers are generated.
If a guy is 6-3 with a ATH/REB/SPD of 60/60/60 and another GUY is 6-11 with a ATH/REB/SPD of 60/60/60 ... then yes, they are the same. But they are the same for different reasons. The tall guy has a 60 REB because he has a height advantage, the 6-3 guy has better blockout technique, longer arms and greater leaping ability.
They could have not factored height into the rankings initially, then have you figure out how to factor it in yourself ... or they can take everything that impacts rebounding into account and give you one number that is comparable to other people without adjusting it.
So, the answer is, height (and all other factors) was taken into account when the attributes were generated. After the numbers are generated, height, weight, shoe size, arm length, vertical leap, and any other thing you want to ask about are included in the attributes ... and the attributes (and IQs) are used to calculate things. So, no they do not currently add height into the equation two times (once while generating attributes and also again afterwords).
