Neither team had any success. But the second team's previous owners were quite active. Essentially I took that team with nothing. High payroll, no current talent, no prospects. Took 4 seasons to break .500. The first team's previous owners were pretty much absentee owners. They seldom traded or promoted but they signed their draft picks and a couple of IFA. Payroll was stupid low(15m or so), no current talent but all the draft picks were in place. Broke .500 in the second season and lost a three way tie-breaker for a playoff spot. Give me the owner that doesn't trade over the guy who is intent on remaking the team the second he sits in front of the computer. It takes a season to get the "feel" of the world. Owners taking over mid-season should probably take the time to figure out the world.
