I find these a little questionable, or a little too vague:

Jimmy Foxx-"Right Turn" (right handed batter)

David "cookie monster" Ortiz ------Song/ Monsters - I thought his nickname was "Big Papi"? Not being from Boston I have never heard of him as "Cookie Monster"?

Babe Ruth ----------------- song/ Baby ice dog - Baby is not Babe thing

I have opted to challenge references personally via sitemail and NOT in this public forum... I haven't challenged that many and have even helped some with alternate suggestions.

You don't see the connection between "Right Turn" & a right handed batter?  I was trying to use unique references for all 25 roster spots but when all your songs are about death & drugs, and you've only had 6 band members it's hard to be completely original.

connection between "Right Turn" & a right handed batter?  So following your logic...  If my band ever had the word "Player" or "He" in any of their songs, I could have connected that to ANY player who ever played the game, Too Vague!  Im Cool with your NEW reference to Foxx, he was a Beast!

when all your songs are about death & drugs...  you should have selected ANY of the other bands out there, maybe with better connections?

We cant have just ANY players out there, ie. the purpose of a Theme League?  I wanted Babe Ruth & Ty Cobb, but I couldnt connected them to my band, so I didnt select them!  Its not like we only have 50 players to chose from total, there are 10's of thousands to select from.  You cant tell me that not being able to have ONE player, is going to RUIN your team?!

Only 6 members?  I took a 2-man band and made a roster.

Well I did take some druggies to fit with the spirit of the theme (Gooden, Porter, Howe, & Show).  Too bad there weren't more players named Jerry!
