I may be interested in grabbing the Minnesota team, but I'm quite confused how it works. If we are on 1989, do I get the twins 1989 roster? I need a better explanation of how this thing works. Let me know.

The roster you see listed would be yours.  The '85 Minnesota Twins roster was the initial team...but we have gone through a few drafts/seasons to get to our current look.  So, you would keep who you wanted from the posted roster, using the '89 stats.  We would play out the 89 season based on those players.  When we get to the point of further expansion, we would use the same initial rules for the expansion teams...in other words, whoever played more than half their season for those teams, would be able to start with those players (and those teams that have those players on their rosters, would lose those players...so buyer beware)

So I guess I'm still a little confused. The roster that is posted is for the 1988 season. Do I keep those players or do I have to draft their 1989 seasons? And when we go to 1990 does that mean the roster will change because some of those players may have played more for other teams?

You get to keep whatever players you wish from that 88 season, but keeping in mind you are looking at their 89 stats now.   When we go to 1990, you do the same thing, keep and cut who you wish.

Ok. One last question then, or I guess it's a clarification. So I can keep any of those players from the 88 season, but can switch out some of the ones I want for players from the 89 season?

To make it a little clearer, I want to keep the 88 puckett. Do I have to use his 89 year now, or can I keep using his 88 year over and over?

You can switch out anyone you want, but the empty roster spots will be filled through a draft based upon the "rookies" from 89 in addtion to any cuts others teams have made.

Puckett would be going into his 1989, so his 88 season is now done and gone.

Sorry for all the hype, but I don't think I would be a good owner in this league. I'm still not sure I understand it. Good look finding someone.
