At the same time, that player just got 15 more AB's to help him develop. I will take the risk for the extra PT.

The more you play, the more you expose yourself to injury.   But, unlike the real world, a player who starts a game at 100% isn't going to 94% during his 9th AB of the day.  Therefore, there's really no reason to expect he's more susceptible to injury because he got 9 AB in the PM2 game.

I see what you are saying.  Im not considering my guys fitness percentages in my argument.  What im saying is that I would be frustrated if one of my key prospects was injured in a blow out game in his 8th or 9th at bat when it could have been prevented if a guy kept track of his minor league pitchers.  If the injuries are just random, and it happened to come when my guy was getting 3 to 4 extra AB's in a game that he wouldnt get under normal circumstances, then I would be ****** knowing he never would have gotten those AB's if the guy I was playing had started a healthy SP and didnt have a pen full of 0(0) guys.  Im not factoring in my guys fitness whatsoever.  (Sorry for the extreme runon sentence)

Set your "When winning by......" options and your stud will be pulled from games when he's likely to get 9 AB.  Unless, of course, you're giving up as many runs as you're getting.
