Eastern is in.

My son would probably like to be in it if you need another dedicated coach. He took over Bluffton last year, so the program is still young, but he is a good coach and his team should be more competitive this year, and competitive by next year. In the Smith World, he is in the Elite 8. I have him on my schedule already, but if you ask him and he wants to be in the tournament, then I won't schedule him separately next year.

I'd love to jump on the waiting list with Tampa.

Rockford and Hope are scheduled for slot 8 .... we get to schedule at our leisure for that spot correct, since we're in the same conference and then our regular season match up counts for the shootout right?

Yeah that is right your first confence game will count there. Since there are three michigan conference members I had to have one game in the tourney like that.

This is an outstanding field that has been assembled for the Shootout. With the addition of windixies and Yeshiva, we now have 3 of the 10 Winningest Phelan D3 coaches in one single tournament. A great mix of Shootout old-timers and fresh faces with programs on the rise.

Kudos to andersaa for getting us up to 16 teams and still having a waitlist. That is awesome. This is where I always wanted the Shootout to get to during my tenure as Administrator and am glad to see that come to life under the new leadership. This will continue to be an excellent event, and the SOS numbers will definitely be some of the best in the world every season. GL to all in recruiting and the upcoming season!!!

This shootout is like the pre-season NIT ... the quality of the field is definitely awesome. It gives my team (Hope) a really good gauge of where we stand heading into conference play. We made the NT last season because of our RPI, due to playing in the shootout. Once in, we shocked the world with our very young team making it to the sweet sixteen :) now we're finally ready to maybe win more shootout games then we lose! Hope is ready for this season .. gl all

Yikes. I'm going to run smack into the 16 team field with one of the youngest, least experienced teams I've had in a long time. I likely will have no Jr's or Sr's. Do your worst ha. They'll be back for revenge as upperclassmen.
