throughout a season, how many would I expect? I have a promising prospect in my system with proj 79-75-98-60-90 offensive ratings. Would that offensive ability be better than having a solid D catcher with 50-50-50-50-50 offensive ratings?
Always play that first guy over the 2nd guy unless the offensive guy is more of a DH. I look at range and glover very little, and in little I mean none.

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Trevor Crosby

This player has an unusually high range and field ratings for a catcher. He still lets balls go by. So,  wouldn't put too much stock in it.
