it would have only given me an extra 2k next season, which in d1 might be 2% of my budget. meanwhile the player would have probably benefitted the lower teams a lot, especially if i went over the player being battled over.

How do you get "karma points" for not doing something that the game wouldn't have allowed you to do anyway? 

Between a broken computer and vacation recruiting has sucked for me. In 2 different worlds I've managed to log on near the end of recruiting and there were zero (0) players available with 3 or fewer seasons of eligibility. If I wasn't rushed to recruit in 3 minutes or less I might have thought of searching D2/D3 guys. Thanks for the tip! I wouldn't normally choose this option but as long as the coach doesn't deliberately "target" a school then I see little harm done. 

If it was allowable, I have no problem with a D1 grabbing a D3 recruit
