My question is this: How does he end up with an ath of one if height is factored into ath? Seven feet has to count for something.

Height isn't 'factored' into anything from what I understand. It's purely cosmetic.

I don't understand why height would have anything to do with ATH.  if anything, really tall guys tend (generally) to be less athletic.  (The rare NBA freak of nature doesn't count).

I think height is only factored into rebounding and shot blocking.
