with ifa you never know, but i always go for the 1st stud i see if you wait you get stuck holding money and that is the worst thing to do, yeah you might loose out on an even better player, but the chances are better you get stuck holding lot of cash
also why have you not signed your draft pick? with 24 milleft in signing money you had plenty to sign a ifa and you draft pick, you just threw away an entire season worth progression, thats maybe 3-4 points off his projections that you are not going to get back
I agree. Be aggressive. Take the first good player you can get. Play one guy in CF or even LF. Or trade him for a 1B, C, pitcher, or whatever position you are weakest at. If you had the most and it was only $11m I'd say it might be worth the risk to see if somebody more valuable came along. But $24m is too much money to risk wasting. Plus, the player is too good to waste too.
