Ok, so to get this back on track a bit... Which of my PGs would you want from a purely offensive standpoint, in a vacuum? Thompson has a fairly significant advantage in Ath and slight edges in speed, BH, Pass, and Per - all of the guard cores - but Towner has a 59 point edge in LP, basically the difference between having no LP and having post-player LP.
Thompson. The ath advantage is significant enough. Towner is interesting because of the low post, but anything below 45 ath/def is pushing it (depending on your defense, although I know you're asking for simply offensive output). Thompson is a hell of a D3 point guard. Towner is a mediocre guard with a good low post rating.
