Franco plays center.  Alomar plays 2nd.  Andrews plays 3rd.

oops...continuation of above post.  Sit O'Connor for Tomura

Franco CF
Tomura LF
Hernandez 1B
Latham RF
Jacobsen SS
Andrews 3B
Kapler C
Alomar 2B

That's a dang good lineup.  Actually I think I would get rid of Kapler because his PC is so terribly low and at least use Ayala, your AAA guy, against rhp.
You've got plenty of offense...so I think I would go out and get a defensive catcher with a good PC number.  Check the FA market.  He doesn't need much of a bat with your lineup.  Durable  + defense would help you a lot at C.   Trade Kapler to some AL team who can use a cheap DH

That atrocious bright yellow uniform drained my cellphone battery. Thanks!

I get frustrated with those70/70/50/50 fielders. Having a "GG" LFer is great ..... unless you have four of them. I'd play him in center before I would 2nd. Just because the recs are lower doesn't mean its less important. Some don't realize that 2nd base range is a factor in turning double plays. Also, a plus play on the infield is more valuable than a plus play in the outfield.

Here is a similar player to show what Tomo will probably do offensively.  http://www.whatifsports.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=2994449  Cruz had 2 so-so seasons, then 2 Silver Slugger RF seasons and now a terrible start 1/4 of the way into his fifth season.  Up and down, all over the map.  Never know what I'm going to get out of him.  When he is good, he is almost All-Star good.  When bad, really bad.
This guy is a stud from glancing at his OBP he has put up over the course of his career.  The season he is in now is just a small sample size, and his OBP is still at .340, which isn't bad.  You would be hard pressed to find a team that didn't need this guy in the lineup imo if that team was looking to win games.  I don't see where he has been bad yet but to each his own.  I hardly pay attention to batting average and suspect his power numbers will go up more to norm in his current season.  With his current OBP, his average of .210 hardly matters at all and it will go up to about .275 by the end of the season I would expect with his OBP to about .375

He is a guy you have to have in the lineup daily.

yah that Cruz dude is clearly better then Tomo.  better defense, almost good enough to play CF certainly good enough for 2b.  Dont know why he is in RF with that low arm accuracy and power.
Cruz has a 69 contact to Tomos 62
cruz VR 70 Tomo 63
Cruz baserunning 81 Tomo 41.
This all says to me that Cruz will have a better career.
The only offense rating that Tomo is better is VL, and we all know where to rate that.

Cruz is a lefty so I won't play him at 2B.  I have other options for left field and his range is too low for CF (where I have better defensive options anyway).  What else does that leave me except RF?

didnt see that he is a lefty.
Then again, there is that ole lefty 2baseman arguement! lol

Id play him at CF, his bat is very very good for a Cf, and his def isnt that bad...

those 25+ minus plays he'd have in CF would be far too costly for Cruz...I'd platoon Cruz vRighties if I had not other choice for COF...

After scouring the free agent market (we have another day or so in the free agency period in this world) there really isn't an option that makes sense for CF there.  There are some nice defensive CF'ers in FA with unacceptable offensive ratings and some comparable offensive guys to Tomo but the same defensive deficiencies.  I have also scoured all teams in the world for trade possibilities and have a few feelers out but not a lot of hope.  There seems to be a real lack of true CF in this world.

Looks to fall like this for the time being:

Franco CF  (his durability will force many days off during the season)
Tomura 2B (for the time being, will keep an eye on his defense)
Hernandez 1B
Latham RF
Guerrero LF
Jacobsen SS
Andrews 3B
C  (bringing back this guy through FA for his defense and will live with the bat Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Neifi Ortiz

Alomar Utility Fill in for Fatigue
Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Milt Kapler and Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Terry Graffanino will serve to spell guys and DH
